Snippet Sunday: At First Snowfall #snippetsunday #SPeekSunday #8Sunday

Welcome Back Everyone!

Today is Snippet #1 from my newly published story! I'm so excited to have you read it!

Today I'll be sharing a snippet from my newly published story At First Snowfall.

I thought I would take a break from my Dia de los Muertos ~ Day of the Dead and show you a glimpse into my new story for Christmas time. Hope you enjoy the snippet.
*Note: The snippet has been modified to fit the 8 sentence limit.***
We are starting off with the prologue.
***********************************************************************************
The Wicked Witch Will See You Now
Adelaide Montague was so happy when she learned that she was pregnant with her first child. She was nervous to tell the father though, more nervous than she should be.
Normally Fae can't wait to tell their lovers of this good news but with Adelaide it proved different.
She was in love with a married man, specifically a married prince.

Prince Alexander Donahue was tall, dark and handsome. He had broad shoulders and was built like a soldier.
His golden-brown hair was buzzed so short he might as well have shaved it all off.
His eyes were diamond colored, and when he looked at you, it was like his gaze pierced your soul.
 ***********************************************************************************
Adelaide has a right to be nervous. A Prince? Wonder how he will react?

May all your dreams come true, takes on a whole new meaning when Xiomara finds out she’s an Oracle with Fae witch powers, and her boyfriend is a werewolf from another realm.
When her half- brother shows up on her doorstep with his prophecy, the true nightmare begins. She must stand beside him in the battle of Galant or the evil Queen will destroy the kingdom
Some faerytales are all too real, but if she can unleash her powers and learn to control them before the first snowfall, she just might find her happily ever after.

  6. Not a typical beginning for a romance---I like it! Hope the Prince reacts, if not well, at least with a modicum of respect! :)

  10. I like how this coupling not only creates the complications of a morganatic line, but also the issue of two different kind of creatures altogether having a child.
