White Rabbit Chronicles Book 1 Alice in Zombieland Review

So I know I have been going on and on about these books and I keep saying I'm going to write a mini review about it so here I go!

So in this first book by Gena Showalter, you get to meet Alice this teenager who basically thinks her dad is insane and she thinks she is just a normal teenager. Let me tell you guys she is not some normal teenager.
She is a bad ass zombie slayer. Yes you heard me Zombie slayer.
In the first book Alice goes through a lot of heart break and loss. Gena Showalter really writes her characters well, you feel the pain their is in, you feel for them so much so that you just can't put the book down.
When she meets this guy, Cole, who by the way seems absolutely dreamy, OK if I was 18 again lol. Any who, Alice meets Cole and they instantly have this weird vision connection and they totally want each other and you want them to want each other and be together.
Through the whole book he trains her to be a better slayer. Alice's father had taught her how to fight while growing up so she had the skills they just needed to be expanded on and tweaked to fight these zombies.
The coolest thing about this whole book is how the slayers see and fight the zombies and basically what the zombies are, the whole dang concept was amazing. You have to read the book to get the whole affect.
Now one character that I was in love with from the moment she came into the picture is Kat, Alice's best friend. She has some secrets in her closet but she is the funniest and most up lifting character. I wanted her to be my best friend lol.
The book ends and you just crave more, trust me once you get to the second book you wont be able to wait till the third. And when that third one is over your going to go through all the stages of grief.

Now when you read this book give it time. I had my best friend read it and she thought it was the slowest out of the three, but she still was really hooked from book one on the whole concept and she loved the characters. Trust me you will love this book.

That's it for the review on book 1. Book 2
review will be up in a few weeks!

OK guys until next time.

XOXO
