White Rabbit Chronicles Book 1 Alice in Zombieland Review
So I know I have been going on and on about these books and I keep saying I'm going to write a mini review about it so here I go!
So in this first book by Gena Showalter, you get to meet Alice this teenager who basically thinks her dad is insane and she thinks she is just a normal teenager. Let me tell you guys she is not some normal teenager.
She is a bad ass zombie slayer. Yes you heard me Zombie slayer.
In the first book Alice goes through a lot of heart break and loss. Gena Showalter really writes her characters well, you feel the pain their is in, you feel for them so much so that you just can't put the book down.
When she meets this guy, Cole, who by the way seems absolutely dreamy, OK if I was 18 again lol. Any who, Alice meets Cole and they instantly have this weird vision connection and they totally want each other and you want them to want each other and be together.
Through the whole book he trains her to be a better slayer. Alice's father had taught her how to fight while growing up so she had the skills they just needed to be expanded on and tweaked to fight these zombies.
The coolest thing about this whole book is how the slayers see and fight the zombies and basically what the zombies are, the whole dang concept was amazing. You have to read the book to get the whole affect.
Now one character that I was in love with from the moment she came into the picture is Kat, Alice's best friend. She has some secrets in her closet but she is the funniest and most up lifting character. I wanted her to be my best friend lol.
The book ends and you just crave more, trust me once you get to the second book you wont be able to wait till the third. And when that third one is over your going to go through all the stages of grief.
Now when you read this book give it time. I had my best friend read it and she thought it was the slowest out of the three, but she still was really hooked from book one on the whole concept and she loved the characters. Trust me you will love this book.
That's it for the review on book 1. Book 2
review will be up in a few weeks!
OK guys until next time.
XOXO

I thought I would take a break from my Dia de los Muertos ~ Day of the Dead and show you a glimpse into my new story for Christmas time. Hope you enjoy the snippet.
*Note: The snippet has been modified to fit the 8 sentence limit.***
Last week we started off with the prologue, Adelaide is pregnant with a married mans baby and to top that off he is the soon to be King of their kingdom.
*****
All oracles had the same eye color. Some Fae believe it's so the oracle can easier see through to the person's past, present, and future.
He was next in line for the throne and it could be sooner than he thought. Victor Donahue, his father and King of all Fae was also an oracle.
He had fallen ill and was worsening with each passing day. The first time Adelaide had seen
Prince Alexander was over a year ago at the town festival in celebration of his first-born, a son they named Jayce.
Princess Victoria, Prince Alexander's wife, had looked stunning in her white, off-the-shoulder dress, a long gown covered in lace and diamonds from head to toe. Her crimson hair was pulled up in a tight braided bun that made her skin appear sun-kissed, and her sea-foam green eyes really popped.
*****
Uh oh, he has a son too! Adelaide has gotten herself in a world of trouble hasn't she? His wife sounds beautiful too.
Find out what happens next week on Sunday December 7th for snippet #3 of my paranormal romance At First Snowfall.
Also in paperback!
Paperback: $12.99
May all your dreams come true, takes on a whole new meaning when Xiomara finds out she’s an Oracle with Fae witch powers, and her boyfriend is a werewolf from another realm.
When her half- brother shows up on her doorstep with his prophecy, the
true nightmare begins. She must stand beside him in the battle of Galant or the
evil Queen will destroy the kingdom
Some
faerytales are all too real, but if she can unleash her powers and
learn to control them before the first snowfall, she just might find her
happily ever after.

We are starting off with the prologue.
***********************************************************************************
The Wicked Witch Will See You Now
Adelaide Montague was so happy when she learned that she was pregnant with her first child. She was nervous to tell the father though, more nervous than she should be.
Normally Fae can't wait to tell their lovers of this good news but with Adelaide it proved different.
She was in love with a married man, specifically a married prince.
Prince Alexander Donahue was tall, dark and handsome. He had broad shoulders and was built like a soldier.
His golden-brown hair was buzzed so short he might as well have shaved it all off.
His eyes were diamond colored, and when he looked at you, it was like his gaze pierced your soul.
***********************************************************************************
Adelaide has a right to be nervous. A Prince? Wonder how he will react?
