Snippet Sunday: Day of the Dead ~ Dia de los Muertos #snippetsunday #SPeekSunday #8Sunday

Welcome Back Everyone!

Today is Snippet #3! I'm so excited to have you read it!

Today I'll be sharing a continued snippet from my newly published story Day of the Dead ~ Dia de los Muertos.

Last time we left off with Valentina knowing she didn't want to live her life in agony going through chemo. She decided with the time she had left she was going to travel and see as much of the world she can.

***Note: The snippet has been modified to fit the 8 sentence limit.***

***************************************************************************
She wanted to see the world and enjoy life as long as she could.

Her high hopes were dashed, when she caught a cold only a few weeks into her life as a vagabond.

When that cold hit it started to spiral out of control.

That was until she ended up in the ER of Hope Memorial and from what she saw of this little town it was most likely the only hospital they had.

She met the most amazing man who just so happened to be an oncologist. Dr. Xander Carlisle convinced her there was hope and he'd be there every step of the way.

She underwent chemo treatments and radiation. Almost a year later, she'd been given the news that she was cancer free.

***************************************************************************

Now that Valentina is cancer free what will she do? Why did Dr. Xander Carlisle take such an interest in her?

Find out next week on Sunday October 4th for snippet #4 of my paranormal romance Day of the Dead ~ Dia de los Muertos.

She was a doctor and she knew the diagnosis was not good.

It was true. Doctors made the worse patients and she was no different.

Her mother had died of breast cancer. Valentina had no intentions of going through the treatment she did.

Her mother had suffered for along time, and Valentina knew she'd done it all for her.

Her mother had tried to live, but in the end, death took her anyway.

Hospital bed, chemo and death didn't appeal to her.

What lies ahead for Valentina?

Snippet Sunday: Day of the Dead ~ Dia de los Muertos #snippetsunday #SPeekSunday

Welcome to Snippet Sunday

Today I will share a snippet from my newly published story Day of the Dead ~ Dia de los Muertos.

***Note: The snippet has been modified to fit the 8 sentence limit.***

*******************************************************
October was Valentina Bellmonte's favorite month out of the year with its beautiful weather, but she especially loved Halloween. Halloween had always been a big deal at her house growing up.

They would decorate the house with pumpkins and scarier items like ghosts, witches and vampires.

Her mother would throw a big party where everyone was required to wear a costume, the scarier the
better.
She hoped, this year, she'd remain healthy enough so she could actually enjoy the festivities this little town of Hope had to offer. She moved here by chance a year ago.

She'd closed her practice of four years, sold her condo and took off in her car, planning to see as much as she could of the states before she couldn't.

She'd been diagnosed with cancer, stage four and with no hope.
*******************************************************

Where will Valentina travel too? And what mysteries await her?

Find out next week on Sunday the 21st for snippet #2 of my paranormal romance Day of the Dead ~ Dia de los Muertos.
