Snippet Sunday: At First Snowfall #snippetsunday #SPeekSunday #8Sunday

Welcome Back Everyone!

Today is Snippet #2 from my newly published story! I'm so excited to have you read it!

Today I'll be sharing a snippet from my newly published story At First Snowfall.

I thought I would take a break from my Dia de los Muertos ~ Day of the Dead and show you a glimpse into my new story for Christmas time. Hope you enjoy the snippet.

*Note: The snippet has been modified to fit the 8 sentence limit.***

Last week we started off with the prologue, Adelaide is pregnant with a married mans baby and to top that off he is the soon to be King of their kingdom.

*****
All oracles had the same eye color. Some Fae believe it's so the oracle can easier see through to the person's past, present, and future.
He was next in line for the throne and it could be sooner than he thought. Victor Donahue, his father and King of all Fae was also an oracle.
He had fallen ill and was worsening with each passing day.  The first time Adelaide had seen
Prince Alexander was over a year ago at the town festival in celebration of his first-born, a son they named Jayce.
Princess Victoria, Prince Alexander's wife, had looked stunning in her white, off-the-shoulder dress, a long gown covered in lace and diamonds from head to toe. Her crimson hair was pulled up in a tight braided bun that made her skin appear sun-kissed, and her sea-foam green eyes really popped.
*****
Uh oh, he has a son too! Adelaide has gotten herself in a world of trouble hasn't she? His wife sounds beautiful too.

Find out what happens next week on Sunday December 7th for snippet #3 of my paranormal romance At First Snowfall.

  2. Interesting set up. (I was a little confused reading it, but it's almost 2:00 am and I'm wiped out from work, so it probably has more to do with that than the snippet.)

  3. I have to agree with PT, it was a little hard to follow in terms of who was doing what however, you describe things so beautifully I just wanted to fall into the world you have created.
