Snippet Sunday: Day of the Dead ~ Dia de los Muertos #snippetsunday #SPeekSunday #8Sunday

Welcome Back Everyone!

Today is Snippet #6! I'm so excited to have you read it!

Today I'll be sharing a continued snippet from my newly published story Day of the Dead ~ Dia de los Muertos.
Last time we left off with tall, dark and handsome Xander coming into the morgue to see Valentina.

***Note: The snippet has been modified to fit the 8 sentence limit.***

Over six-four, he towered over her. His gorgeous eyes were the most unusual shade of emerald green. All the nurses were head over heels with him.

Valentina remembered when she was stuck in the hospital for months and Xander would visit her, all the nurses kept coming in and out of her room, practically swooning to get a look at him.

At one point, Luis Hernandez, the only male nurse, and Valentina tried to set him up with one of the nurses, a pretty brunette with big blue eyes, but Xander hadn't been interested.

After that, Hernandez was her permanent nurse.

"Hey Xander, how's it going?"

"I was just going to ask you the same.
**************************************************************************************************************************************
Why wasn't Xander interested in any of the girls Valentina and Hernandez tried to set him up with? Maybe he is in to her.

Her faith is put to the test when a body arrives at the morgue drained of blood and the man responsible for the crime is sporting fangs. Could vampires be real?
Her good friend, Dr. Xander Carlisle seems to know the truth, but he's unwilling to confide in her. He has a secret of his own and it's not just how he feels about her, but something else entirely, something he's forbidden to reveal.
